About Me

Hello and welcome to Ed’s Lessons!

I’m an experienced Early Childhood educator, having taught internationally, and now here in in Perth Australia where my family have put down roots. I’m also a parent to two amazing young adults, who are turning out to be incredible young men!

I am excited to share my passion for inquiry-based learning and teaching through hands-on activities inspired by picture books and the world around us.

You might also find the odd sprinkling of parenting and teaching advice to help you battle the scourge (yes, the scourge!) of those dreaded screens.

I witness the positive impact that inquiry-based learning makes on young children and their attitude towards learning, and believe that inquiry-based learning is one of the best ways to nurture curiosity, and tap into children’s potential.

Join me to discover the joys of inquiry-based learning for fostering curiosity and a love of learning in early childhood, a first step to happy, lifelong learning!
